About IsGoldRightForMe
We started with a simple frustration: almost everything written about gold is written by someone trying to sell it to you. Ask “is gold right for me?” online and you get a sales pitch. We thought the question deserved a straight answer.
What we believe
Almost everything written about investing in gold is written by someone who sells it. So when you ask a serious question about your retirement, the answer is always the same: "yes, buy gold." That's advertising, not an answer.
Gold fits some people and not others. So we'll tell you the truth, even when the truth is "gold is probably not for you." That answer costs us money. We think it's the whole point.
Our standards
Believing something is easy. Here's what we actually hold ourselves to.
A vetting standard every gold provider must meet before we'll put them in front of you. How We Vet Providers
Full disclosure of how we're paid. No buried footnotes, no vague language. How We Make Money
Written editorial standards. Every article is reviewed against them before it publishes. Editorial Policy
Clear limits. We're not a financial advisor, broker, or dealer, and nothing here is investment, tax, or legal advice. Full Disclosures
What we do
We built an assessment that gives you an honest read in a few minutes. If investing in gold fits your situation, and you want to go further, you can request a free gold guide, written by the vetted provider we connect you with. We're paid by that provider for the introduction, whether or not a purchase is ever made, which is how we keep the assessment free. We explain that fully on our How We Make Money page.
What we're not
We're not a gold dealer, and we're not owned by one. We're not a broker. We're not financial advisors, and we don't give investment, tax, or legal advice. We're the step before all of that: the honest first look that helps you decide whether gold is even worth pursuing.
Who owns and operates this site
IsGoldRightForMe.com is owned and operated by Whole View, LLC, an independent media company based in Reno, Nevada. We built this site because we think the question "is gold right for me?" deserves a straight answer instead of a sales pitch.
Our team has spent years in financial services marketing, across areas like retirement products, life insurance, and precious metals. That means we know exactly how gold gets sold, and how often a sales pitch gets dressed up as advice. We built this site to do the opposite. We're not gold dealers or financial advisors. We're people who understand this industry well enough to explain it in plain language and to tell you when gold doesn't fit.
Whole View owns and funds the site, sets its editorial standards, and stands behind the work published here.
The team behind IsGoldRightForMe
This site is built and maintained by the Whole View team responsible for its content, partnerships, technology, and operations.

Gabriella manages the relationships with the marketing partners we work with. With 8 years of experience in financial service publisher affiliates and partnership management, she runs a tight ship on our lead acquisition processes.
Matt leads the site's technology, infrastructure, and data handling. With 5 years of experience in IT and systems used by financial service advertisers, he is responsible for site reliability, security, and the safe handling of the information visitors share with us.
Ayelen keeps the day-to-day running smoothly, from lead handling to provider vetting, holding our partners to the standards described on our How We Vet Providers page. With 4 years of experience in operations, she makes sure the process a visitor experiences matches what we promise on the site.
Editorial standards and author vetting
Our content is written and reviewed against a written editorial policy, which sets our standards for accuracy, sourcing, and the plain, no-pressure voice we hold to. Contributors and reviewers are selected for real subject-matter familiarity with retirement accounts and precious metals, and every published piece is reviewed before it goes live. See our Editorial Policy for the full standard.
Regulatory awareness
We build our content around the actual rules that govern Gold IRAs and precious-metals purchases (IRS eligibility standards, custodian and depository requirements, and the consumer-protection realities of an unregulated retail dealer market), and we mark clearly, everywhere, that we do not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. See our full disclosures.
